Gameday: Boys Basketball at Timpview

The boys’ basketball team will travel to Timpview for a 2nd round match-up in the UHSAA 5A State Tournament. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7p. GOOD LUCK, LEOPARDS!!!

Girls Basketball Moves On

The girls basketball team went deep into their bench to secure a 56-44 victory over Olympus in the 2nd round of the UHSAA 5A State Tournament. Up next: the Leopards will play at the Huntsman Center at the University of Utah against top seeded Lehi in the quarterfinals on TUES (FEB 25) at 5:50p. GOOD

The boys basketball team beat Wasatch 56-46 in the 1st round of the UHSAA State Tournament. Up next: at Timpview on FRI (FEB 21) at 7p. GOOD LUCK!!!

Spring sports are nearly here. Congratulations to the Lady Leopards on a 57-39 win in the first round of the UHSAA 5A Girls Basketball Tournament. Up next, another home game against Olympus on Thursday (FEB 20) at 7p.

Boys Tennis Tryouts

Boys Tennis Tryouts start Monday February 24th. Meet in room C208 at 2:50 dressed and ready to go outside.

State Swim: East Girls Place 5th

Congratulations to our swim team at State. We had swimmers compete in 15 of the 22 events and the girls team placed 5th overall in 5A!!!  Marge Mayer podiumed in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.33 for a 6th place medal and finished 9th in the 100 Free with a time of 55.16. Lily Mayer joined her sister

Sau Tafisi Takes State!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW STATE WRESTLING CHAMPION, SAU TAFISI!!! Sau completed his run through the UHSAA 5A Championships in the 220 lb weight class with at sudden victory win in overtime in the State Final. He is a true Leopard that represents East as a multi-sport athlete and a student-leader. Congrats, Sau!
