Boys Basketball Winter Break Results

The boys basketball team played in the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic in San Diego over the break. The Leopards went 1-3 in games against Jesuit (CA), St. Mary’s (AZ), Roosevelt (CA), and finished with a win against San Ysidro (CA). Girls Basketball Winter Break Recap

The Lady Leopards finished off the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix with wins over Xaverian (NY) and Sacramento (CA) to go 2-2 in the tournament. They then returned to split their last 2 non-region games against Copper Hills (L, 57-52) and Bountiful (W, 73-48). The Leopards open up Region VI play at West.

Wrestling vs West

East took to the mat to host West in wrestling matches on Thursday evening. Sau Tafisi, Petelo Tafisi, and Victor Reyna all won by pinfall and Ikani Tuiono and Josue Sanchez won on points.

Swim Meet at West

On Tuesday the swim team competed against West in a battle of cross-town rivals. Many swimmers improved their times including Matthew Ricks in the 50 Free, and Laine Bell and Ian Roberts in the 200 Free.
