Participation Requirements

In order to participate on an athletic team at East, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Complete a Registration on RegisterMyAthlete.com (RMA)

    • Account & profile are created once by a parent/guardian – athletes are added to that account
      • If you forget your login credentials, click on “forgot email/password” or contact the Athletic Director
      • Do not create multiple accounts for the same student athlete
    • Registration must be completed each year for every sport you intend to tryout for
    • Transferring students can submit requests to compete at their new school as part of the registration

  • Complete the UHSAA Physical Exam Form

    • Must be done every school year – physicals expire in July
    • Pages 2 & 3 must be filled out completely and signed by both a parent/guardian and the student-athlete
    • Page 4 must be filled out and signed by an approved medical professional listed on page 1
    • Physicals can be uploaded on RMA and/or turned in to the Athletic Trainer or Athletic Director
  • Academic Eligibility

    • UHSAA minimum standards include:
      • 2.0 gpa  AND no more than 1 failing grade in the most recent grading period
        • grades cannot be changed after they have been posted to restore eligibility
      • Must be a full time student

    • Team standards may be higher than UHSAA minimums
